Note:

Beginning with Flash Player 11.5, uninstalling the Flash Player resets the AutoUpdateDisable and SilentAutoUpdateEnable settings in mms.cfg to their default values, which are:

• AutoUpdateDisable=0
• SilentAutoUpdateEnable=0

If you are running the Flash Player uninstaller as part of your deployment process, redeploy any custom changes that you have made to either AutoUpdateDisable or SilentAutoUpdateEnable.

Open your browser and check the status of Flash Player.

Puffin Browser, also called Secure Browser, is a web browser that's built and designed for faster Internet browsing and it introduces a few privacy features. Full encryption of web traffic and prevention of DNS hijacking are headline features.

While the program is free to download and install, it does require a small subscription price to pay for its cloud services. Once you've activated your Puffin account, a free month trial is activated so a credit card or payment method is required to get started.

What Puffin Browser does is uses cloud servers to add additional speed and encryption for its users. The rendering engine is cloud-based, so it takes some of the load off of the PC in order to speed up rendering.

The look and layout of this web browser is pretty flat and modern-looking and whizzing through the menus shows off its speed. It doesn't seem to suffer from some of the slowdowns and lag that other browsers might experience and thus makes surfing the web a little bit faster. Another factor in improvements speed-wise is Puffin's JavaScript engine which uses the cloud to pre-process and compress code.

The menu system of Puffin Secure Browser provides access to bookmarks, history, appearance settings, search engine settings and so on. It includes, be default, a password manager and full encryption of all Internet traffic regardless of whether HTTPS is in use.

All in all, Puffin Browser is a very interesting web browser that includes some features that aren't yet common but the drawback might be the $1 per month price tag in order to fund its services.
