These Field Network Configuration Files are available to download.
To use an EDS file, select the attachments link shown in the left ribbon of the PDF and open the applicable EDS file. If the PDF file opens in a browser and the attachment link does not show, save the PDF file to a computer and then reopen the PDF file to view the attachment symbol. Number Description Attachment symbol. EDS Files(XG-X2000) EDS Files(XG-X1000) EDS Files(CA-NEP20E) These files are used for connecting XG-X Series products to a PLC via EtherNet/IP. Registration of these EDS files is not necessary for KEYENCE KV Series products. If XG-X Series cannot be selected in your version of KV STUDIO, please update to the latest version of KV STUDIO.
EDS file notes: (If you are not sure of vintage, download the others, your device will associate with the correct.eds file.). EDS files are always the responsibility of the device vendor. RA Tech Support and Commercial Engineering sometimes have EDS files for partner companies (like Prosoft), and the ODVA sometimes has EDS files from member companies (though my cursory check this afternoon didn't find their EDS library).
