I had the same error message as the rest so I downloaded WinCDEmu but the actual driver installer never popped up. Am I missing something?

I remember this game.

I did similar stuff to Nicky. The way my computer did it was I selected to open in the WinCDEmu app after I set up WinCDUmu.

I remember back when I was maybe around 5-6 years old, playing this game, and I didn't care to do anything in orderly fashion, properly, or even within a time limit. I mostly cared to explore and experience all the game had to offer. From every area, to every item, and every in-game character (if at all responsive).
I can't recall how many times I have looked back on my childhood and always thought of this game. A classic of its series and knowing that this, along with Jumpstart: Adventure Challenge, is what led me to loving video games and grasping content that was beyond my age at the time. I never did go to preschool, I learned multiple things in life through flashcards at that time, and started my school years out in kindergarten instead.
I miss my childhood like most, but my newly found discoveries at that age sparked joy in my life that I still carry with me in spirit today.

Ok, I figured it out (So far so good). I tried a few different programs to run the image file but most didn't work for me. The software that did work was WinCDEmu. I downloaded it here: https://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/download/
The steps:
1. Download file
2. Unzip
3. Download image software (WinCDEmu)
4. Right click on disk image file and select 'Select drive letter & mount'
That just worked for me on my PC!
Good Luck!

Just downloaded this and am using Daemon tools lite. Install doesn't seem to do anything. Any advice?

One of my earliest computer memories is of my toddler self waking up early in the morning, turning on the computer and starting this game, only for my parents to tell me that it was time for me to go to preschool.
The thing I remember most about playing this game was how big it was. My older-self's brain tends to be very goal-oriented, thinking about how to finish a game in the fastest time with the fewest errors. But as a child, when I played this, 'winning' wasn't so important. I had more fun clicking on everything just to see what would happen, sometimes multiple times to see it repeat over and over. I also remember I would also deliberately activate the cooking machine too early because I thought watching the Glop Monster rampage across the screen was hilarious. 'Oh no! It's the Glop Monster! AAAHHHOOOHHHAAAGRRRAHHH!!'
The game does have goals, though. You could play the games and earn points toward prizes, but you don't really have to do any of that. The real draw of this game is exploration-based learning; it's got books to read, songs to dance to and fun places to visit and play around in, and it doesn't penalize the player too hard for making mistakes. That's why the game is a classic.

Says disc file is corrupted, are there any instruction on how to download?

Hi,
Every time I try to run it asks me to insert a disc or key if some sort. Does the game have a crack to get around this?
Thanks

The screenshots accompanying this game appear to be for the 1999 remake, and not the original edition, which I owned.
The original edition is tough to find these days. All I can find is the 'classic' re-release, which dubbed over all of Frankie's dialogue to sound more high-pitched and child-like, and made a few graphical changes, but was otherwise the same.
